Smart telescope for deep-sky imaging
Choose a target in the app's star chart and DWARF 3 can locate and track it automatically. For astronomy, the telephoto system provides a 3.38° diagonal field of view and supports live imaging workflows for nebulae, galaxies and star clusters.
Three built-in telephoto filter modes
DWARF 3 includes visible-light, astronomy and Hα/OIII dual-narrowband filter modes in the telephoto optical path. The dual-narrowband option is intended for emission-nebula imaging where isolating H-alpha and OIII wavelengths can improve contrast.
Battery life and power
The built-in battery is rated at 10,000mAh and the telescope can operate while connected to external USB power. DWARFLAB's current testing reports approximately 5 hours 38 minutes in telephoto Astro tracking mode under its test conditions, so actual runtime will vary with temperature, operating mode and connectivity.
DWARF 3 for wildlife and daytime imaging
DWARF 3 is not limited to astronomy. The 737mm-equivalent telephoto view, separate wide-angle camera and subject-tracking functions can also be used for birds, wildlife, landscapes, panoramas and time-lapse imaging.
