The removable plate and clamping base let you separate the two parts when packing away, accessing your controller or reorganising your rig. Once fitted, the two knurled thumbscrews provide a straightforward, hand-operated way to secure and release the plate.
It is a practical addition to a portable setup that comes apart after each session, or an imaging rig where you want the controller mounted neatly but still accessible.
Choose the orientation that suits your setup
Every imaging rig has its own layout. Horizontal and vertical mounting options give you flexibility when positioning the ASIAIR around nearby equipment. Choose the arrangement that gives you convenient access to its connections and room to route your cables.
The mounting holes and slots provide a choice of fixing positions. Match the hole spacing, thread and screw length to your equipment when installing the mount, and leave enough cable slack for normal mount movement.
