The Buckeyestargazer TriBahtinov Mask combines the proven focusing precision of a traditional Bahtinov mask with the added ability to assess and fine-tune collimation on telescopes with adjustable optics.

Using a three-zone diffraction design, the TriBahtinov pattern allows astrophotographers to achieve highly accurate focus while also identifying optical alignment errors, making it particularly valuable for SCT, RC, Maksutov, and other collimatable telescope systems.
Each mask features a raised central grip for easy handling in the dark and is supplied in precision snap-fit sections for simple assembly, transport, and storage. Smaller sizes may be single-piece, while larger aperture versions use multiple keyed segments that securely connect together.
Hyperstar / Fastar compatibility: Selected C6, C8, C9.25, C11 and C14 variants are designed to support both Hyperstar and native Fastar secondary mirror configurations. These versions include a correctly sized central opening plus a snap-fit reducer bushing where required.

Assembly guidance: The keyed segment connectors are designed to fit in one direction only. Always align the tabs carefully and press sections together gently without forcing from the wrong angle.
