The Celestron Royal Observatory 7x50 Porro Binoculars is a classic 7x50 Porro-prism binocular produced in partnership with Royal Observatory Greenwich. The 50mm objectives and 7mm exit pupil suit relaxed low-light viewing, astronomy, nature observation and general outdoor use.

7x50 Porro-Prism Design
The combination of 7× magnification and 50mm objective lenses provides a bright, steady view with a generous 6.6° angular field. BK7 prisms and coated optics support good everyday contrast and colour.

Comfortable Wide-Field Viewing
A 7mm exit pupil and 14mm stated eye relief make this model well suited to scanning star fields and following broad terrestrial scenes. The interpupillary distance adjusts from 56mm to 72mm, with a dioptre adjustment for balancing the two eyes.

Outdoor and Astronomy Use
The binocular is described as water resistant, but it is not nitrogen filled and should not be treated as waterproof or fog-proof. A standard tripod adapter can be fitted for longer observing sessions; the adapter and tripod are sold separately.

Royal Observatory Greenwich Edition
The special-edition body carries Royal Observatory Greenwich branding. Its included case, strap, lens caps and cleaning cloth make it ready for travel and storage.

Celestron’s current product page does not publish a weight. The 0.68kg Shopify value comes from a current exact-model UK retailer listing, which separately states a boxed weight of 0.884kg. Confirm the shipping weight from stock if postage is calculated closely.
