The Celestron Royal Observatory FirstScope 76 Telescope is a Royal Observatory Greenwich edition of Celestron’s compact 76mm FirstScope tabletop Dobsonian. It offers quick, unpowered point-and-look observing with two supplied eyepieces and a portable rotating base.

Compact 76mm Reflector
The Newtonian optical system uses a 76mm spherical primary mirror, 300mm focal length and f/3.95 focal ratio. It is intended for wide, low-power views of the Moon, brighter planets and prominent star fields.

Royal Observatory Greenwich Edition
The tube carries exclusive Royal Observatory Greenwich artwork and branding. The optical and mechanical format follows Celestron’s standard FirstScope platform.

Tabletop Dobsonian Mount
The tube pivots on a compact manual base. Place it on a stable table or similar solid surface and move it by hand; there is no tripod, motor, GoTo system, app connection or automatic tracking.

Two Eyepieces Included
The 20mm eyepiece gives 15× for locating and framing targets, while the 4mm eyepiece gives 75×. No finderscope, Barlow lens or star diagonal is stated as included.

Portable Beginner Setup
The special-edition page does not state a total weight. The Shopify value of 1.95kg is an explicit inference from Celestron’s mechanically identical FirstScope chassis and should be replaced if the carton states a different shipping weight.

Solar Safety
Warning: Never look directly at the Sun through this optical instrument without a correctly fitted, certified full-aperture solar filter.
Permanent and irreversible eye damage can occur. Never use an eyepiece-type solar filter and never project sunlight through the instrument. Cover or remove finder devices during properly filtered solar use.
Never leave the instrument unattended, especially when children are present.
