The Celestron Royal Observatory Travel Scope 70 Telescope is a lightweight 70mm refractor developed with Royal Observatory Greenwich for astronomy and correctly oriented terrestrial viewing. The complete kit includes two eyepieces, a 45° erect-image diagonal, finder, adjustable tripod and carrying backpack.

70mm Fully Coated Refractor
The 70mm objective, 400mm focal length and f/5.7 focal ratio provide wide views of the Moon, bright planets, star clusters and daytime landscapes. Celestron specifies fully coated optics.

Astronomy and Terrestrial Viewing
The supplied 45° erect-image diagonal produces a correctly oriented image for nature and landscape viewing. Never point the telescope towards the Sun unless a compatible certified full-aperture solar filter is securely fitted.

Two Eyepieces and Finder
The 20mm eyepiece provides 20× and the 10mm provides 40×. A 5×24 finderscope helps centre a target before viewing through the main instrument.

Adjustable Altazimuth Tripod
The lightweight manual mount moves up/down and left/right and adjusts from approximately 559mm to 1321mm high. It has no GoTo, motor drive or automatic tracking.

Backpack Travel Kit
The optical tube, tripod and accessories fit into the supplied backpack. Celestron states a total kit weight of 1.5kg; the optical tube alone is 0.68kg.
