130mm Parabolic Newtonian Optics

Unlike a simple photographic tripod, an equatorial mount is designed around the apparent movement of celestial objects. Once correctly set up, the fine adjustment controls allow you to keep your target in the eyepiece as the Earth rotates.

Fine Movement for Comfortable Observing

The mount's fine adjustment controls make small, controlled movements possible without having to continually reposition the entire telescope.

This is particularly useful at higher magnifications, where even a small movement of the telescope can move an object outside the field of view.
