150mm Aperture – A Bigger Window on the Universe

The supplied reducing adapter allows you to use standard 1.25-inch eyepieces, while the full 2-inch connection gives you considerably more choice when adding eyepieces and compatible accessories in the future.
The focuser provides approximately 59mm of adjustment and more than 55mm of backfocus.
Red-Dot Finder – Turn Searching into Finding
Knowing that an object is somewhere in the sky and actually getting it into your telescope's eyepiece are two very different things.
The included red-dot finder makes locating targets easier. Once aligned with the main telescope, it projects a red reference point against the sky to show approximately where the telescope is pointing.
Combine it with a star chart or astronomy app and you'll quickly begin learning how to navigate between bright stars, planets and deep-sky objects.
EQ-320 Equatorial Mount
A capable telescope needs a stable mount. The supplied EQ-320 equatorial mount supports the 150mm optical tube and provides a steady platform for visual observation.
An equatorial mount is specifically designed around the movement of the night sky. Once correctly aligned for your observing location, celestial objects can be followed far more naturally as the Earth rotates.
This becomes particularly useful at higher magnifications, where objects otherwise move across the eyepiece surprisingly quickly.
Fine-Motion Controls – Follow the Stars Smoothly
The EQ-320 features manual fine-motion controls which allow small and controlled adjustments to the telescope's position.
Rather than repeatedly pushing the telescope by hand, you can use the adjustment controls to keep an object within the eyepiece as it appears to move across the sky.
This makes longer observing sessions much more comfortable, especially when examining the Moon and planets at higher magnification.

Two Eyepieces Included
