The SVBONY SV137 2× Barlow Lens with T-thread increases the magnification of a compatible 1.25″ eyepiece and adds a threaded connection for camera adapters. This is the W9106B 2× M42 version.

Get more from your existing eyepieces
Place the Barlow between your telescope’s 1.25″ eyepiece holder and eyepiece, then refocus. Nominal 2× amplification lets one eyepiece provide a second magnification: for example, a 20 mm eyepiece behaves approximately like a 10 mm eyepiece in the same telescope.
Higher magnification is most useful when the target, telescope and atmospheric conditions support it. Start at low power, centre your target and increase magnification only while the view remains sharp.
Optics and eyepiece retention
- Fully multi-coated optics help reduce reflections at the lens surfaces.
- Blackened lens edges and a dark interior help control scattered light.
- An internal brass compression ring holds the eyepiece while helping protect its barrel from screw marks.
- A metal body and rubber grip ring provide a practical accessory for regular observing.
T-thread connection for imaging
The male M42 T-thread provides an attachment point for compatible camera adapters. A suitable camera-specific T-ring or adapter is required and is sold separately. Check your camera connection and available focus travel before ordering; a threaded connection alone does not guarantee that every camera and telescope combination will reach focus.
The stated 2× factor is nominal. In imaging arrangements, the effective amplification can change with the distance between the Barlow optics and camera sensor.
