More magnification for the Moon and planets without changing your eyepiece collection. The SVBONY SV213 is a 1.25-inch, 3× Barlow lens (manufacturer SKU W9167B) designed to increase the effective focal length of a compatible telescope for visual observation and suitable planetary imaging setups.

Why choose the SV213?
- 3× magnification factor: triples the magnification obtained with a compatible eyepiece, subject to the optical setup.
- Three-element optical design: an air-spaced, apochromatic-style optical arrangement designed to help control colour fringing.
- Fully multi-coated optics: designed to reduce reflections and improve light transmission.
- Brass compression-ring eyepiece clamp: secures a 1.25-inch eyepiece without direct metal screw contact with the barrel.
- 1.25-inch filter thread: M28.5×0.6 threading for compatible accessories.
Using the 3× Barlow
Insert the Barlow into a compatible 1.25-inch eyepiece holder, then fit and secure your 1.25-inch eyepiece in the Barlow. A 12 mm eyepiece, for example, will provide approximately the magnification of a 4 mm eyepiece under nominal 3× operation. Actual performance depends on spacing and the telescope's optical arrangement.
Higher magnification also reduces image brightness and increases the effect of atmospheric turbulence. For the clearest lunar and planetary views, use a magnification appropriate for your telescope's aperture and local seeing conditions.
