SVBONY SV705C IMX585 Colour Planetary Camera

The SVBONY SV705C is a high-speed colour astronomy camera for planetary, lunar and EAA imaging, built around the Sony IMX585 back-illuminated sensor with 3856 × 2180 resolution, 2.9μm pixels and up to 45 FPS at full resolution.

SV705C Planetary Camera – IMX585 Sensor

The SV705C is a high-performance planetary and lunar camera built around Sony’s advanced IMX585 back-illuminated CMOS sensor. Thanks to its modern BSI architecture and refined pixel design, the camera delivers exceptionally low read noise combined with a very large full-well capacity, making it ideal for high-resolution imaging in demanding low-light conditions.

With a full-well capacity of up to 38,000 electrons—around three times that of the older IMX485 generation according to SVBONY—the SV705C provides improved dynamic range and greater flexibility when capturing planetary, lunar and EAA targets.

USB3.0  High Speed Transmission

Using USB3.0 high speed data transmission, is quick and efficient for planetary, lunar and solar.

  • IMX585 CMOS color sensor

  •                                Compared with the earlier IMX485 generation, the IMX585 delivers up to 45 FPS at full resolution with low readout noise. SVBONY also quotes approximately 1.7× higher sensitivity

128MB Image Buffer

  •                                  The SV705C has a built-in 128MB image buffer. The benefit of the image buffer is that the memory will cache the image and
  •                                transfer it to the computer when the USB interface is not busy or being interrupted, so that the frame won’t be lost or corrupted. This
  •                                buffer also allows a slower computer with USB 3.0 to capture every frame without loss even if the USB bus is occasionally busy with
  •                                other peripherals. This buffer also makes it possible to run another camera using the same computer without USB transfer problems
  •                                from the SV705C.

Supports ROI & BIN

  •                                 SV705C features Region of Interest (ROI), auto resolution can be set, will highly increased the frame rate in planetary imaging, excellent
  •                                performance ensure the planetary imaging quite easy.             3856 × 2180 @ 45FPS      1920 × 1080 @ 187FPS
