Give your telescope setup more room above the tripod. The Dark Clear Skies ASCENT 200 is a 200mm tripod pier extension compatible with ZWO AM3, AM3N, AM5, AM5N and AM7 mounts. It connects directly to the ZWO TC40 tripod and features an open four-pillar design, circular mounting plates and a black finish.
Positioned between a compatible tripod and mount, a pier extension raises the mounting position to create additional space around the tripod head. This can help with clearance for a long telescope tube, diagonal or imaging accessories as the telescope moves across the sky.

This allows the supported ZWO mounts to be used on a TC40 tripod, or on an EQ6 or EQ3/EQ5 tripod with the appropriate AXISBASE adapter. The necessary mounting screws are included with the pier extension.
Choose the standard version for these ZWO combinations. The dedicated ASCENT 200 EQ3 and ASCENT 200 EQ6 extensions use different fittings and are not designed for ZWO mounts.
