Give your EQ3 setup more room to move. The Dark Clear Skies ASCENT 200 EQ3 is a 200mm tripod pier extension designed for Sky-Watcher EQ3/EQ5 mount setups. It raises the mount above the tripod head, creating extra space around the tripod for your telescope and attached accessories.
That additional height can help reduce clearance problems when a long telescope tube, diagonal or imaging equipment approaches the tripod legs. It is a practical addition for visual observing and astrophotography setups where space around the mount matters.

Compatibility
This is the complete dedicated EQ3/EQ5 pier extension (COKEN-TA828). It is not designed for ZWO mounts. For ZWO AM3, AM3N, AM5, AM5N or AM7, choose the standard ASCENT 200 (COKEN-TA655); an AXISBASE EQ3/EQ5 adapter is required when using that standard pier on an EQ3/EQ5 tripod.
