The Omegon N 76/700 AZ-1 is a compact Newtonian reflector telescope designed for beginners taking their first steps into observing the night sky. Its straightforward AZ-1 mount, useful selection of included accessories and simple setup make it particularly suitable as a first telescope.
With a 76mm aperture and 700mm focal length, the telescope provides rewarding views of the Moon and brighter Solar System objects. Explore lunar craters and mountain ranges, observe Jupiter and its four bright Galilean moons, and look for Saturn's famous rings.
76mm Newtonian Optics
The 76mm primary mirror gathers considerably more light than the unaided human eye, revealing celestial objects that cannot normally be seen with the naked eye.
The 700mm focal length provides a useful balance between magnification and ease of use, making this telescope particularly well suited to lunar and planetary observing.
Simple AZ-1 Alt-Azimuth Mount
The AZ-1 mount is designed to make finding objects straightforward. Move the telescope horizontally and vertically to point towards the required area of sky, without needing to polar-align an equatorial mount.
The mount is supplied on a height-adjustable aluminium tripod with an accessory tray.
