SVBONY SV107 Aluminium Travel Tripod and Monopod

The SVBONY SV107 is a lightweight and versatile aluminium tripod designed for spotting scopes, cameras, binocular adapters and other equipment using a standard 1/4-inch mounting thread. Its portable four-section design extends to approximately 146cm yet folds down for easier transport and storage.

A detachable leg converts the tripod into a practical monopod, giving outdoor observers and photographers two useful supports in one compact system. With a maximum recommended load of 3kg, the SV107 is particularly well suited to lightweight spotting scopes and photographic equipment.

Tripod and Monopod in One

One of the SV107’s tripod legs can be removed and connected to the centre column to create a portable monopod. This gives you a faster, more mobile support when a full tripod is unnecessary or when there is limited space to position three legs.

The monopod can help steady a camera or other compatible equipment while photographing wildlife, travelling or walking. It may also be used as a simple walking support when required.

Adjustable Four-Section Legs

The four-section aluminium legs allow the working height to be adjusted for different users and observing positions. Quick-release flip locks make it straightforward to extend or retract each section without individually threading the leg joints.

Independent leg-angle controls provide additional flexibility when positioning the tripod on uneven ground or preparing it for lower-angle viewing and photography.

360-Degree Ball Head

The supplied ball head provides smooth, multi-directional positioning and can rotate through 360 degrees. Separate controls allow the ball position and horizontal panning movement to be secured once the equipment is correctly aimed.

This freedom of movement is useful for composing photographs, scanning a landscape or positioning a spotting scope towards a subject. The integrated spirit level helps you check that the support is level before use.

Quick-Release Mounting Plate

The quick-release plate allows compatible equipment to be attached or removed without repeatedly unscrewing it directly from the tripod. Its universal 1/4-inch mounting screw is suitable for many cameras, spotting scopes and compatible binocular adapters.

Always ensure the mounting plate and all adjustment controls are securely tightened before releasing your equipment.

Adjustable Centre Column

The geared centre column provides additional height adjustment using the side crank. It can also be inverted when you need to position a camera closer to the ground for low-level photography, macro work or unusual compositions.

For maximum stability with a spotting scope, extend the centre column only as far as necessary and keep the tripod legs spread securely.

Suitable for Outdoor Use

The tripod’s feet can be configured for different types of ground. The rubber-covered setting is suitable for hard or finished surfaces, while the exposed metal points can provide extra purchase on suitable soft outdoor ground.
