Overview
The Wanderer FilterCube is a premium 5-position motorised filter wheel designed specifically for high-performance prime-focus imaging systems including the RASA 11 and RASA 36. Featuring a unique zero-obstruction design, integrated tilt adjustment and built-in camera angle adjustment, the FilterCube delivers a highly refined imaging experience for demanding astrophotographers.
Supporting both 2" mounted and 50mm unmounted filters, the FilterCube combines compact mechanical engineering with advanced anti-reflection control to minimise halos, ghosting and unwanted reflections commonly seen in fast optical systems.

Patented Side-Flip Filter System
The innovative side-flip filter mechanism allows rapid and reliable filter positioning while maintaining an exceptionally compact footprint. The system provides four side-flip filter positions plus one dedicated luminance slot.
Designed for both 2" mounted and 50mm unmounted filters, the FilterCube offers excellent flexibility for mono imaging workflows.
Zero Optical Obstruction
With an outer diameter of just 114mm, the Wanderer FilterCube introduces virtually no optical obstruction when installed on compatible RASA systems.
The ultra-compact design preserves illumination efficiency while maintaining mechanical rigidity and optimal filter placement.
Broad Camera Compatibility
The FilterCube is compatible with a wide range of astronomy cameras including models from ZWO, QHY, Player One, ToupTek and more.
Multiple mounting positions and precision spacing make integration straightforward for modern imaging setups.
Integrated CAA & Tilt Adjustment
A built-in manual Camera Angle Adjuster combined with a rear 3-point tilt adjustment system allows precise framing and sensor alignment without requiring additional adapters.
The intelligent access-slot design also allows collimation adjustments while the FilterCube remains installed.
Advanced Anti-Reflection Design
Internal baffling and carefully optimised mechanical geometry help suppress ghosting, halos, rainbow artefacts and flat-frame calibration issues often encountered with ultra-fast optical systems.
Extensive real-world testing has resulted in a highly refined optical path engineered specifically for demanding astrophotography applications.
