Sharpstar 76EDPH: Advanced Optics for Astrophotography

The Sharpstar 76EDPH is the second addition to the Sharpstar EDPH family. Known for its aesthetic appeal and compact design, it features a triplet air-spaced lens structure with ED (extra-low dispersion) glass, ensuring outstanding performance for both visual observation and astrophotography. This design effectively eliminates chromatic aberration, delivering detailed and high-contrast images.

With a 76mm aperture and a focal length of 418mm, the Sharpstar 76EDPH achieves a fast focal ratio of f/5.5. Its compactness, with a tube length of only 332.9mm when the dew shield is contracted, makes it an ideal companion for travel. This telescope easily fits into travel bags and can be taken on planes, offering convenience for outdoor sky observation.

The Sharpstar 76EDPH’s precise optical and mechanical design ensures high performance. It also comes with a dedicated 2.5" f/4.5 full-frame reducer, elevating it among high-end, fast-focal-ratio astrographs.
